Covid-19, a new form of coronavirus, is dominating the news. It’s a worrying time for everyone, and social distancing measures can feel daunting and isolating. Mental health charity Mind has launched a new online page for people who are feeling anxious about coronavirus, staying at home and following social distancing guidance, and who have to self-isolate and follow strict hygiene rules. It covers how to handle staying at home, including adding structure and variety to your day, and how to manage rolling news coverage. It will be updated as the ongoing situation develops.
Mind now also have advise for managing feelings about lockdown easing. Lockdown has been difficult for many people. But when we were in full lockdown across the UK things might have felt more certain, as the rules were more clear. Now things might start feeling less clear, and there may be new challenges.
