C&I hosts a Mental Health Matters event exploring the impact from social media both negative and beneficial on our mental health.

Topics covered:

• Is it a factor in contributing to what some clinicians see as “new schizophrenia”?
• What role does it play in existing conditions such as drugs, gambling and sex addiction?
• Is there such a thing as “selfie addiction”?

Hear the views of Dr Antonio Metastasio, C&I Consultant Psychiatrist, who has a particular interest in issues relating to addiction. This event is open to anyone – staff, service users and local residents, and others with an interest in mental health.
