Veterans, serving forces personnel - and their mental health

Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), depression, anxiety and substance abuse affect a significant minority of service personnel and veterans. Experiences during service and the transition to civilian life mean that, for some, mental health problems are triggered by particular circumstances.

Local to Camden, Mind in Haringey runs the course Coping with life skills (for veterans, their family and friends) and from St Pancras Hospital, London NW1, there is the Veterans' Mental Health Transition, Intervention and Liaison (TIL) Service.
