What do we offer?

We offer a wide range of support to help you permanently overcome issues that may be holding you or your family back. Our team will spend time listening to you, considering what sort of support you need and how we may be able to help. We tailor our support to each individual and our clients are always welcome to return to us again in future.

Our services include help with employment and training, homelessness services, sheltered housing for the over 55’s, family support, financial grants (for school uniforms or household items for example), health, drugs and alcohol, counselling, debt and advocacy advice and services, and social events. On 1st April 2023 the homelessness charity Borderline and ScotsCare merged, with ScotsCare now providing all of the homelessness services of Borderline.

Here are some videos that show some of our work. Please see our News page for stories about how we have helped our clients and for more on our recent work. Our FAQs also has useful information about us.

We also run The St Andrews Scottish Soldiers Club for army personnel.

Who should use this service?
Scots and the children of Scots living within 35 miles of Charing Cross, central London. This includes towns such as Luton, Slough and Crawley.

Volunteer notes

Volunteers assist in many ways, as Blether Buddy befrienders, chatting to a socially isolated Scot, or on our office reception, at social events and more! If you have some time to spare and would like to be part of our community, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator Louise by email or telephone 020 7240 3718 for further information and an up to date list of current volunteering opportunities.
